Courage in Faith (Older Youth)
Join us for a reflective session on deepening our faith and reliance on Allah as we explore how it empowers believers to endure and find meaning in hardships. We aim to nurture spiritual resilience in times of crisis and uncover wisdom from stories of the Prophets and companions. Discover how acceptance (riḍā) and patience (ṣabr) transform trials into opportunities for closeness to Allah.
Shared Faith, Unique Journeys: Connecting Sisters Across Generations (Older Girls)
This interactive session aims to facilitate intergenerational communication and connection among Muslim sisters. Muslim women share struggles, joys, and experiences, universal across different age groups, but they also have their own unique experiences that can be misunderstood by other generations. We hope to foster understanding and solidarity and understanding between sisters and to create a space where we can learn from one another.
They Not Like Us: Being Proud Young Muslims (Older Boys)
Explore the changing phases of life and the waves of low and high īmān through the timeless wisdom of the Qur'an and the Hadith of the Prophet ﷺ. This session will focus on grounding oneself in a pure moral compass (fitrah) to navigate societal pressures, fostering confidence through knowledge, and embracing the beauty of Islam in an American context. Gain clarity, strength, and conviction in aligning your values with your faith.
Sisters in Strength: Faith & Courage Among Muslim Women (Older Girls)
Being a Muslim woman in America requires courage and resilience. This session offers a supportive space to explore the unique challenges Muslim women face, from maintaining modesty and addressing stereotypes to navigating personal and societal pressures. Engage in a dynamic activity to share experiences, followed by a lecture drawing from the Qur'an and Islamic tradition. Together, we’ll reflect on examples of courageous women in our faith and find strength in embracing our identities.
Prophetic Masculinity: The Man of Divine Aura (Older Boys)
This session explores the Islamic essence of masculinity, rooted in God-consciousness (taqwa), good character, humility, and generosity. We’ll contrast these timeless values with modern misconceptions of masculinity shaped by social media and cultural influences. Drawing from the wisdom of scholars and the example of the Prophet ﷺ, we’ll address stereotypes, clarify misunderstood texts, and provide practical advice for navigating life transitions. The session explores how young Muslims can navigate advocacy, uphold their values, and pursue justice through the Prophetic tradition and Islamic principles in today's politically charged climate.
Writing Our Story: Tackling Stereotypes and Navigating the Muslim Experience (Older Youth)
Through this interactive session, we will address and discuss the pressures Muslims feel, especially when navigating the toxic or extreme narratives within the community, as well as the negative perceptions from outside the community.
Leaf it to Allah: Frolicking into Faith (Older Girls)
Join us for a serene session exploring mindfulness, dhikr, and reliance on Allah (SWT) through a blend of halaqah, a reflective nature walk, and creative activities. Together, we’ll connect with Allah’s creation by appreciating the beauty and wisdom in nature’s cycles, from the changing leaves to the quiet harmony of ecosystems. Through moments of reflection and hands-on crafts, discover how slowing down can deepen gratitude and foster a stronger connection with your Creator.

We’ll address misconceptions about faith, challenging topics in Islamic history, and boundaries in interactions with the opposite gender.

It's Girls Night In and we'll dance til we drop.
We'll craft and take pictures til it's time to stop.
