Not Your Typical Muslim-American: Southeast-Asian Identity (Younger Youth)
Through interactive activities and scenario-based exercises, we will reflect on their identity as a "minority within minorities," address stereotypes and misconceptions, and respond to the pressures of being Muslim and Indonesian/Malaysian in America. This session fosters understanding, resilience, and pride in a multifaceted identity.
With Great Faith Comes Great Power: The Olympics (Younger Youth)
This session empowers the youth to remain steadfast in tough times by strengthening their faith and drawing inspiration from courageous Muslim figures like Muhammad Ali, Malcolm X, and the Palestinian figures. Through an interactive activities, participants will explore traits like bravery, trust in Allah, and resilience. Reflect on Iman, Tawakkul, and learning how faith fuels strength in an unjust world.
Setting Sail: Using Your Moral Compass (Younger Youth)
This session guides youth through the transitions of growing older, exploring responsibilities, identity, and navigating life’s changes. Through a “coming of age” discussion, participants will reflect on intentions, purpose, and handling challenges. We will emphasize resilience and understanding one’s morals while navigating life’s evolving currents as youth.

Faith Over Fame: An Evening with Ex-Pro NFL Player Hamza Abdullah (ALL Youth)
This session explores how Islamic values guide decisions and lifestyle, the importance of humility amidst the pressures of fame, and the role of community and brotherhood in staying grounded. Gain valuable lessons on balancing personal ambition with religious obligations and standing firm in your beliefs, offering inspiration for young Muslims striving to maintain their faith in every endeavor.

Can Islam Be Fun? (Younger Youth)
This session highlights the joy and richness of Islam, showing that faith and fun can coexist. Participants will explore ways to enjoy life in the West while staying true to their deen, balancing fun in the dunya without succumbing to it. Topics include celebrating uniquely as Muslims and finding joy in reconnecting with faith amidst modern challenges.
Reflect & Connect (Younger Youth)
This session emphasizes the power of Dua and its importance, encouraging middle schoolers to incorporate it into their lives early. Participants will learn what Dua is, how to make it, and explore examples. The session also introduces the life of Muslim inmates, raising awareness about their struggles and ways to support them. Activities include writing Duas and letters to incarcerated Muslim brothers and sisters.
Brain Rot: Time is TikTok-ing Away (Younger Youth)
This session explores the value of time and its limited nature, focusing on the benefits and harms of social media and the web. Discussions include how overstimulation caters to the nafs, the impact of being chronically online, and strategies to disconnect and reconnect with faith, family, and nature.

This session features engaging activities like team trivia, incorporating themes from past lectures and events, and an interactive group game. The program concludes with a prize giveaway, final reflections, and a group photo to celebrate the experience.

We'll craft and take pictures til it's time to stop.
Bracelets and necklaces are things we'll make.
And we'll sing karaoke during this much needed break :D
