Registration Period

Registration for the field trip is open until Monday, December 1, 2025, at 11:59pm PST, or until we reach capacity, whichever comes first.

Option 1: Georgia Aquarium

Cost (Admission Ticket & Bus Accommodation):
  • Child (0-2 years old): Free
  • Child (3 years old and up): $35
  • Youth (middle & high school): $35
  • Adult (18+ years old): $55
Children 0 to 5 years old must be accompanied by a paid parent or guardian
Volunteer Chaperone will supervise a group of children 6 years old and up.
Price includes Dolphin and Sea Lion show (time permitted)

Option 2: Stone Mountain Park

Cost (Admission Ticket & Bus Accommodation):

  • Child (0-2 years old): Free
  • 3 years old and up: $40
Children 0 to 5 years old must be accompanied by parent or guardian
Volunteer Chaperone will supervise a group of children 6 years old and up
Price includes Summit Skyride and other attractions that are open during our trip (check the website for further detail)
Rules and Regulations
  • Participants must follow rules & regulations set by the field trip committee.
  • Field trip is only open exclusively to registered Muktamar participants.
  • All field trip participants must gather at designated place (to be announced prior to field trip date) at designated time. Participants are responsible to be at the gathering place on time to avoid missing the bus or group entry to the venue.
  • Committee is not responsible for participants who miss their bus or entry to the venue due to late arrival at the meeting point.
  • Participants will be assigned into groups with a group leader. Participants must follow directions from their group leader, field trip coordinator, and their bus driver.
  • Participants must wear their Muktamar name tag at all times.
  • Participants must wear appropriate Muslim attire and uphold proper Muslim behavior throughout the entire field trip.
  • Participants should report any problems or concerns to their group leader, who will then communicate them to the field trip committee.
  • Participants who engage in unruly behavior will receive a warning from their group leader and/or the field trip committee. Repeat offenses may result in removal from the field trip, with parents or guardians responsible for arranging transportation back to the hotel.
  • Parents or guardians of minor participants must sign out their children upon arrival back at the hotel
Volunteer Chaperones
  • Chaperones are needed for the field trip to the Aquarium and Stone Mountain Park. Chaperones must be 21 years of age or older. .
  • Parents who volunteer as chaperones may be assigned as group leaders, responsible for overseeing a group that includes their own child throughout the trip.
  • Chaperones are responsible for the safety and accountability of all assigned participants, not just their own child (for parent volunteers).
  • Chaperones are expected to maintain the group's order and stop disruptive behavior from participants.
  • Ensure that all chaperones have a list of the children's names and important contact information. Learn the children's names as soon as possible, and be aware of any allergies or medical conditions.
  • Take note of the meeting place and time, especially if your group is allowed to explore the grounds independently.
  • If possible, research the field trip destination beforehand to familiarize yourself with the area and have a better idea of what to expect.
Changes and Cancellation
  • Requests for changes and cancellation can be done by sending email to: fieldtrip@muktamar.us.
  • Requests for changes and cancellation will be accepted until Monday, December 1st, 2025 and they are subject to eligibility and space availability for each field trip destination.
  • No refund for cancellation after Monday, December 1st, 2025 but the spot is transferable.
  • Requests for changes after Monday, December 15, 2025 will have to be addressed to the onsite field trip committee.

  • Muktamar Terms & Conditions are incorporated herein by reference.

  • We reserve the right to alter these Terms and Conditions at any time. If the alterations constitute a material change to the Terms and Conditions, we may notify you via internet mail. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion, in good faith and using common sense and reasonable judgment.
